ABOUT Islamic Games
The purpose of the Islamic Games is

• To execute a professional athletics and sports event within the Muslim community
• To promote athletic skills within the Muslim community
• To develop appreciation for sports among Muslims
• To encourage Muslim to interact with the wider community

The Islamic Games started in the late 80's and continued until the mid-90's. This year's Games is a continuation of the objectives and efforts of the previous games.

Many Muslims, male and female, participate in sports and athletics at all levels, the Islamic Games allows such athletes to meet, network and compete with each other.

The Islamic Games seeks to provide the forum for all the Islamic Schools to participate in athletics and sports since there are currently none.
